  DUBAI - With the Fifa Club World Cup underway in Abu Dhabi and Al Ain, police have issued a warning about hefty penalties for anyone carrying "white weapons". Dubai Police and authorities warned football fans against carrying swords, daggers, sticks and batons, saying carrying such weapons can lead to a fine of up to Dh30,000 and jail time of up to three months. Under the UAE law on security of sports facilities and events, “any person who breaches shall be sentenced to an imprisonment term of one month at least to three months maximum, and/or a fine of Dh5,000 minimum to Dh30,000 maximum.” The world's best football clubs are currently competing in the Fifa Club World Cup being held at Zayed Sports City in Abu Dhabi and Hazza Bin Zayed Stadium in Al Ain.
