A “blood moon” or total lunar eclipse will appear on Tuesday (November 28) as the last total lunar eclipse for the next three years. A "blood moon" happens when Earth's moon is in a total lunar eclipse. Visibly, the moon takes on a red or ruddy brown hue. According to Nasa, a partial eclipse will begin at 12:44pm (4.44am EST), with a total eclipse from 1:17pm (5.17am EST) to 2:42pm (6.42am EST). The reddish moon will be visible for 85 minutes from North America, parts of South America, Asia, Australia and New Zealand. Abu Dhabi will be able to partially see the blue moon. During the eclipse, the seventh planet Uranus will be visible close to the eclipse moon. This will be the second and final lunar eclipse in 2022. The last one took place on May 16, 2022. The next blood moon will be on March 14, 2025. ICA/Expat Media
