Giant signages, pedestrian entrances and first aid tents have been installed around Downtown Dubai in preparation for New Year’s Eve fireworks at Burj Khalifa. On Sheikh Mohammed Bin Rashid Boulevard in front of Dubai Mall’s Fashion wing, a large road signage installed on Tuesday (December 26) gives directions to Burj Park and Dubai Mall restaurants for invitees and visitors coming with their families, as well as directions to public facilities, like toilets, buses and the Dubai Metro. To usher in 2024, the world’s tallest building will put up a “bigger and better than ever” fireworks show, according to property developer Emaar. For the first time, the most anticipated Burj Khalifa fireworks show will be a ticketed event. Emaar NYE at Burj Park will cost Dh300 per adult and Dh150 for children aged 5 to 12. Children under the age of 5 can enter free of charge. Gates will open at 4pm. The ticket event guarantees uninterrupted views of the NYE celebration and live entertainment, and a meal with two drinks. “While Emaar’s New Year’s Eve celebration remains free for all to enjoy, a unique ticketed viewing experience is introduced at Burj Park in a front-row-set experience of the Burj Khalifa world-famous show,” Emaar said in a statement. Tickets cost Dh300 for adults and Dh150 for children and includes a meal and two drinks, plus access to a prime viewing deck and live entertainment. Tickets are available on Platinumlist. Badges can be collected from December 26 to December 30 from Dubai Mall, Dubai Hills Mall or Dubai Marina Mall. The public can still watch the New Year’s Eve fireworks for free from the Dubai Mall and Downtown area.
