Drizzles were reported in several parts of Dubai on Wednesday, December 17, as unsettled weather conditions continued across the UAE, according to the National Center of Meteorology (NCM). At around 3:50pm, residents in areas including Al Warqa, Mirdif, and Umm Ramool experienced light rainfall, with cloudy skies spreading across the city. The drizzles followed a wet start to the week, after heavy rain fell in parts of Dubai on Sunday morning, December 14. Areas such as Jumeirah Beach Residence, Bluewaters Island, and Dubai Marina recorded intense rainfall, while overcast skies were seen in Al Warsan and International City. Rain was also reported in other emirates, including Ras Al Khaimah, Sharjah, and Ajman. According to the NCM, the UAE will continue to experience partly cloudy to mostly cloudy conditions over the coming days, with scattered rainfall that may be heavy at times. The weather bureau said rain is more likely over coastal, island, northern, and eastern areas, with unsettled conditions expected to persist until December 21. Residents have also been warned of strong winds accompanying convective clouds, which may lead to blowing dust and sand and reduced horizontal visibility in some areas. Sea conditions in both the Arabian Gulf and the Oman Sea are forecast to be rough to very rough at times, particularly during periods of cloud activity. Motorists and residents are advised to remain cautious during periods of rainfall and strong winds, especially in low-lying areas and along coastal roads, as weather conditions may change rapidly over the next few days.

Thursday, December 18 Unstable and partly cloudy to cloudy weather, with convective clouds over scattered areas bringing varying rainfall intensity. Thunder, lightning, and hail are possible in limited areas. Southeasterly winds shifting to northwesterly will be moderate to fresh and strong at times, reaching speeds of 20–40 km/h and up to 60 km/h. Seas will be rough to very rough in the Arabian Gulf and rough in the Oman Sea. Friday, December 19 Unsettled weather will continue, with partly cloudy to cloudy skies and convective clouds producing rainfall of varying intensity. Thunder, lightning, and hail are possible in some areas, alongside a noticeable drop in temperatures. Winds will remain moderate to fresh and strong at times, reaching up to 65 km/h. Seas will be rough to very rough in the Arabian Gulf and rough in the Oman Sea. Saturday, December 20 Partly cloudy to cloudy at times, with a chance of convective cloud formation and rainfall over northern and eastern regions. Northwesterly to southwesterly winds will be moderate to fresh and strong at times over the sea, with speeds of up to 45 km/h. Seas will be rough in the Arabian Gulf and rough to moderate in the Oman Sea. Sunday, December 21 Partly cloudy conditions are expected, with low clouds over island, coastal, and western areas and a chance of light rainfall. Humidity will increase at night and into Monday morning in some western inland areas. Winds will be light to moderate, freshening at times, with speeds reaching up to 40 km/h. Seas will be rough to moderate in the Arabian Gulf and moderate to slight in the Oman Sea.
