Authorities in the UAE confirmed separate incidents in Fujairah and Abu Dhabi on Monday (April 6), including a drone strike on a telecommunications building and an injury caused by falling shrapnel. According to the Fujairah Media Office, a building belonging to du in Fujairah was targeted by a drone launched from Iran. Officials said emergency teams responded immediately to the incident. Authorities confirmed that no injuries were reported in Fujairah. In a separate incident, the Abu Dhabi Media Office said falling shrapnel struck a facility belonging to Raneen Systems in the ICAD industrial area in Musaffah. The debris fell after UAE air defence systems successfully intercepted an incoming threat. According to authorities, the incident resulted in moderate injuries to a Ghanaian national. Emergency response teams attended to the situation. Officials said both incidents are part of ongoing developments involving aerial threats in the region, with air defence systems continuing to intercept incoming projectiles.
