Dubai is set to dazzle residents and tourists with 38 days of fireworks and drone shows during the 30th Dubai Shopping Festival (DSF) starting on Friday (December 6). For the first time, a combination of drone and fireworks displays, dubbed "pyro drone shows," will add a new dimension to the festivities, which run until January 12. The pyro drone shows will debut on December 13 at Bluewaters and The Beach, JBR, at 8pm and 10pm with skydivers adding to the spectacle. An encore performance will mark DSF's closing weekend on January 11. Meanwhile, daily drone shows will take place at 8pm and 10pm, featuring 1,000 drones creating intricate formations and stunning visuals. The shows will revolve around two themes. From December 6 to 26, audiences can witness "30 Years of DSF," which includes a special QR code display to send personalized messages brought to life by drones on December 13. The second theme, from December 27 to January 12, showcases 2D and 3D visuals of iconic landmarks. Adding to the sparkle, nightly fireworks will illuminate Dubai Festival City Mall at 9:15pm, with additional displays over Hatta every weekend at 8pm. Dubai Lights installations across the city, including at Bluewaters, Al Seef, and Kite Beach, will also captivate visitors with immersive technology and artistic projections.
