A 17-year-old boy was sentenced to three months in prison after being found guilty of kidnapping and molesting his 15-year-old friend at a Dubai construction site last year. According to Dubai Juvenile Court, the victim, whose nationality was not divulged, contacted police at Al Qusais station following the incident. He informed the officers that he called an Emirati friend after school on November 17 and asked for a ride home. “He picked me up on his motorbike and shortly, two other men showed up on motorcycles,” court records quote the teenage victim as saying. The bikers rode to a construction site in Al Qusais's isolated neighborhood. They dragged the victim inside the building into an abandoned trailer and threatened him with a knife. “ had blood on it and the two men told me they would kill me if I didn’t do as they pleased,” he said. “He said they will all kill me.” All three suspects were charged with sexual assault, kidnapping, confinement, and issuing threats. The teenage perpetrator was brought before Dubai Juvenile Court, where he was found guilty and sentenced to three months in prison. The suspected adult criminals will be tried at a later date at the Dubai Criminal Court. BKM/ Expat Media
