Three men have been found guilty of assaulting and stealing Dh3,500 from a Naif employee. They were sentenced to a year in prison, fined jointly, and will be deported after serving their sentence. The appeals court upheld the verdict. An Asian man submitted a police report in December alleging that he was assaulted by three males while walking in Naif. The victim said he tried to resist them when they started demanding money. He was, however, attacked with knives and was unable to move. The offenders then fled the scene. According to the case file, a team of Dubai Police investigators gathered evidence and arrested the accused. The suspects later confessed to their crimes. BKM/ Expat Media
