Dubai aims to attract 500,000 medical tourists

  DUBAI – Dubai is ramping up its health tourism with the aim of attracting 500,000 medical tourists this year, according to a Dubai Health Authority (DHA) official. Dr. Marwan Al Mulla, CEO for Health Regulations at DHA, said Dubai is prepared to provide health tourism amid the coronavirus pandemic. Dubai opened its borders to tourists on July 7. The UAE has one of the world’s highest recovery rate for coronavirus, which stood at 87.22 percent on Thursday (July 23), and one of the world’s lowest Covid-19 fatality rate.
