Dubai International Airport (DXB) is preparing for a massive influx of travelers during the Eid Al Fitr holiday rush, with over 3.6 million passengers expected to pass through its terminals until April 7. The busiest day is forecast to be Saturday, April 5, when the airport anticipates handling 309,000 travelers in a single day. The daily average traffic during this period is expected to reach 276,000 passengers. With schools on spring break, DXB is seeing a 19 percent increase in departures, with high demand for India, Pakistan, and the UK for family visits, as well as Sri Lanka, Türkiye, and Italy for leisure trips. To ensure a smooth travel experience, operator Dubai Airports is urging passengers to use DXB Express Maps, a smart wayfinding tool that offers real-time navigation through all terminals. Travelers can scan a QR code on any flight information screen to locate their gates, browse dining and retail options, or find nearby facilities. For People of Determination (PoD), the airport has enhanced accessibility services, including clearly marked accessibility routes, Sunflower Lanyard support for discreet assistance and a dedicated Assisted Travel Lounge in Terminal 2.
