Dubai is set to host a 31-day celebration starting November 3, in honor of key national occasions in the UAE, such as UAE Flag Day and UAE National Day. The campaign will run through to December 3 and will feature a series of exciting events, including spectacular fireworks displays, traditional performances, and seasonal markets. This celebration, announced by Sheikh Ahmed bin Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Second Deputy Ruler of Dubai and Chairman of the Dubai Media Council, aims to honor the UAE’s founding fathers, Sheikh Zayed bin Sultan Al Nahyan and Sheikh Rashid bin Saeed Al Maktoum. “The campaign reflects the unity and pride of our nation, providing residents and visitors an opportunity to come together and celebrate the rich cultural heritage of the UAE,” he said. One of the main highlights will be the stunning fireworks displays on December 2 and 3, which will light up key locations such as JBR Beach, Al Seef, Hatta, and Dubai Festival City Mall. Hatta will also host traditional folk dances and musical performances, making it a family-friendly destination during the celebrations. Dubai’s popular seasonal markets, including Beach Canteen, Ripe Market, and Winter Wonderland, will participate in the festivities, offering Emirati-themed activities, local food, and unique retail experiences. Residents and tourists alike can also enjoy daily fireworks at Global Village, making it one of the key entertainment hubs during the campaign. A Union Day Parade will take place at City Walk on December 2, featuring vibrant displays of Emirati culture with traditional dances and performances. The Dubai Municipality will also illuminate several iconic landmarks such as Dubai Frame, Dubai Safari Park, and the Clock Tower roundabout with dazzling lights for Eid Al Etihad. Dubai International Airport will join in the celebrations by welcoming visitors with traditional national songs, further enhancing the spirit of the festivities. ICA/Expat Media
