Aspiring Filipino singers in the UAE have been given one last chance to chase their pop star dreams. Organisers of Pinoy Pop Star Middle East 2026 have announced an additional and final audition date in Dubai after receiving overwhelming interest from participants who were unable to attend last week’s auditions. “Due to the strong turnout and numerous requests, we decided to open one final audition day,” organisers told Expat Media. The final UAE audition will take place on February 1, running from 11am to 7pm, according to Trip Expert Business & Marketing Solutions, the Dubai-based company organising the event. Pinoy Pop Star Middle East 2026 is a premier regional singing competition open to Filipino residents in the UAE aged 14 to 40 years old. The contest aims to discover outstanding vocal talent from the Filipino community across the Gulf. From the Dubai finals, two winners will be selected to represent the UAE at the Grand Finals in Bahrain, where they will compete against top finalists from Saudi Arabia, Bahrain, Qatar, and Kuwait. The stakes are high for contestants. The Grand Prize winner at the Bahrain finals will receive P300,000, along with additional prizes and future performance opportunities. The competition is the brainchild of Gulf Events, presented by DMCI Homes and VIVA, and organised by Trip Expert Business & Marketing Solutions. The event has become a major platform for Filipino performers in the Middle East looking to break into the music industry.
