Dubai beauty contestants ‘escape’ paparazzi

  DUBAI – The “fierce red carpet look” was on as 19 finalists of The Face of Le Flair beauty pageant in Dubai went head-to-head with the paparazzi. Of course it was only for pictorial purposes! The creative photo shoot was part of the challenge round in the Dubai-based beauty contest. It also featured the finalists in suits and tuxedos by Dubai-based designers Calivo Couture and Harvey Cenit, and gowns by Ryan Pacioles. Pageant director Ryan Banks explained to Expatmedia.net: “They are showing a fierce look because they are angry at the paparazzi and want to escape, but still look fragrant and elegant.” Check out the album below and let us know who should win this round: The finalists will compete in weekly photo challenges until the finale on May 7. The winner will become the brand ambassador of the blossoming perfume brand homegrown in the emirates, and will also get an all-expense paid trip for a campaign shoot abroad. The latest pictorial was shot and directed by Rozen Antonio and filmed by Ric Thirdian at Sahi Media's Goshi Warehouse, with hair and makeup by Thirdy Verapiano, Emily Pangan, Mau Piodena IV, Reagan Gonzales and Marietta Reyes-Behnisch.
