Dubai is set to break another world record with the launch of Therme Dubai, the world’s tallest wellness resort, as part of the city’s Quality of Life Strategy 2033. The landmark project, announced by Sheikh Hamdan bin Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, will stand 100 meters tall and will be located at Zabeel Park. It is expected to open in 2028. Therme Dubai is designed to enhance urban biodiversity and environmental sustainability, reflecting Dubai’s commitment to a greener future. "This innovative project reflects our commitment to enhancing urban biodiversity and environmental sustainability, and creating enriching experiences for Dubai's residents and visitors," Sheikh Hamdan said. The resort will feature the world’s largest indoor botanical garden, capable of accommodating 1.7 million visitors annually. Spanning 500,000 square feet, it will include three key zones focused on restoring, relaxing, and playing. Dubai has allocated Dh2 billion towards the development of this one-of-a-kind wellness retreat, which aims to blend nature with luxury experiences.
