Dubai residents can now go on the metaverse to resolve rental disputes within minutes. RENTAL DISPUTE CENTER

Rental disputes in Dubai can now be heard and settled in the metaverse, the Dubai Land Department Rental Dispute Center (RDC) unveiled. At the ongoing Gitex Global, the RDC launched its Metaverse Litigation virtual platform that uses metaverse technology to resolve rental disputes in Dubai. The RDC also launched its Judicial Probe service that is available on its new website. The Judicial Probe uses Artificial Intelligence to allow users to initiate a case, such as filing an eviction case against non-rent payers, and receive a ruling within minutes, all without judicial intervention. Sultan Butti bin Mejren, Director General of the Dubai Land Department, said that the Metaverse Litigation and Judicial Probe serve to enhance Dubai’s rental judicial system. He said: “We are delighted to witness this milestone achievement and the innovative approach of seamlessly integrating technology, especially metaverse technologies, into traditional judicial procedures. This integration enhances efficiency and offers a user-friendly experiences for our valued customers,” Mejren said. ICA/Expat Media
