Ever wondered what it’s like to cycle alongside the police? Residents and tourists in the UAE now have the chance to do just that. Dubai Police has launched “Ride with Police,” a new community cycling initiative that invites the public to join officers for an evening ride at Dubai Autodrome. The weekly event will take place every Wednesday in April, or on April 8, 15, 22, and 29, offering participants a safe and well-organised environment to cycle. The initiative will take place at the Dubai Autodrome track in Dubai Sports City and will run every Wednesday throughout April, from 6:15pm to 10pm to providing participants with a safe and professionally organised sporting setting. Open to community members, the initiative aims to promote a healthy lifestyle while creating a space for residents to interact directly with police officers in a relaxed setting. Interested participants are required to register online here for free. One of the highlights of the programme is the presence of Dubai Police’s professional cyclists, giving participants the opportunity to ride alongside trained officers, pick up tips, and enjoy a unique experience.
