The Dubai Crown Prince has ordered all property developers and property management companies to provide free home repairs and other services to residents affected by rain and flooding in the emirate. This came after the UAE experienced the highest rainfall level in 75 years last April 16, sparking widespread flooding in Dubai and other emirates. To support those affected by adverse weather conditions, Sheikh Hamdan bin Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Crown Prince of Dubai and Chairman of the Executive Council of Dubai, ordered all real estate developers and residential management companies to offer free services, including providing alternative housing for affected residents, interior cleaning services, home repair and distribution of food. Sheikh Hamdan also ordered authorities to establish a Committee for the Care of Affected People to look into requests from Emiratis, who can directly contact the WhatsApp number 0583009000.
