Dubai Crown Prince Sheikh Hamdan Bin Mohammed Bin Rashid Al Maktoum has once again turned to his Instagram followers for a creative task—naming his new puppy. Known for his love of animals, Sheikh Hamdan shared an adorable photo of the white-and-grey female pup on his Instagram Stories on Monday (November 18), asking his 16.7 million followers for name suggestions. “Female name please,” the caption read, sparking an outpouring of responses from fans eager to participate in naming the royal pet. This isn’t the first time Sheikh Hamdan has invited the public to contribute to his pets’ names. Last year, he shared a video featuring three lively dogs and asked followers for three names—one for a male and two females. After receiving a flood of suggestions, he chose the names Layl, Mizoon, and Nahar. “Thanks to everyone,” he had shared at the time. Sheikh Hamdan, affectionately known as Fazza, is celebrated for his compassion toward animals. His Instagram is a showcase of his adventures with his pets, including horses, camels, falcons, and now, his playful new puppy. The Crown Prince’s call for suggestions has captivated fans once again, with many sharing creative names inspired by Emirati culture, such as Dana, Noor, and Reem. CAM/Expat Media
