Dubai Derma 2022 now officially open

  Sheikh Hasher bin Maktoum Al Maktoum, Director-General of the Dubai Department of Information, officially opened the 21st edition of Dubai World Dermatology and Laser Conference and Exhibition (Dubai Derma 2022) at the Dubai World Trade Centre (DWTC) last Sunday (February 27). Dubai Derma 2022 is the largest dermatology and aesthetic event in the Middle East, North Africa, and Indian Subcontinent that celebrates the theme, “Shaping the Future of Dermatology and Aesthetics” starting from February 27 to March 1. Sheikh Hasher was accompanied by Dr. Abdul Salam Al Madani, Executive Chairman of Dubai Derma and Chairman of INDEX Holding; Dr. Ibrahim Galadari, Chairman of Dubai Derma Conference; Dr. Hassan Galadari, Head of Scientific Committee for Dubai Derma Conference; Dr. Abdul Wahab Al Fouzan, President of Arab Academy of Dermatology & Aesthetics and President of the Kuwaiti Society of Dermatologists; and Dr. Riad Mashal, Secretary of Pan Arab League of Dermatological Societies. The large participation of prominent figures, experts, doctors, and medical equipment and supply manufacturer representatives has reflected the status of Dubai to be considered as one of the safest and premier destinations for global gatherings. Dr. Abdul Wahab Al Fouzan and Dr. Riad Mashal both commended the Dubai Derma for being a successful platform for knowledge exchange on scientific developments in laser therapy, skin surgery, and skin-related diseases treatment. Dubai Derma 2022 displayed more than 1,200 international products from 400 companies, attracting strong country representation from Korea, France, China, Spain, Turkey, Italy, and Poland and welcoming over 20,000 visitors from 104 participating countries. The conference agenda covered 326 scientific lectures including dermatology and aesthetic developments and business opportunities, 79 workshops, more than 90 scientific posters related to various dermatology and aesthetic topics, and over 300 dermatology experts as event speakers.
