The Dubai Municipality has announced that four public beaches will be exclusively designated for families during the Eid Al Adha break starting Thursday (June 5). The beaches—Jumeirah 2, Jumeirah 3, Umm Suqeim 1, and Umm Suqeim 2—will cater only to family groups during the long Eid weekend, which spans from the Day of Arafah (June 5) to the end of the Eid holiday (June 8). The initiative, aimed at regulating visitor flow during one of the UAE’s busiest holiday periods, builds on the success of similar family-only beach measures implemented last year. “The goal is to provide a more secure, comfortable, and enjoyable beach environment for families, particularly when public beaches tend to get extremely crowded,” according to Dubai Municipality. To support the move, 126 trained safety personnel will be deployed across the beaches. Equipped with advanced tools, this team will manage safety and rescue operations. An additional 100 field inspectors will monitor crowd behavior, ensure smooth traffic flow, and respond to incidents. Dubai Municipality emphasized that operations will be closely monitored in collaboration with partners throughout the Eid period, ensuring that families can enjoy beachside celebrations with peace of mind.
