Making an illegal U-turn in Dubai will cost you Dh500 and four black points in your traffic file, according to Dubai Police. The police have repeatedly warned motorists against making illegal U-turns, and have released video footage showing drivers ignoring traffic sign boards. According to Dubai Police, more than 29,000 violations on U-turns have been registered in the past 10 months, of which six people were injured in such incidents. ICA/Expat Media
