A Dubai Traffic Court has fined an Asian man Dh10,000 and suspended his driving licence for three months after finding him guilty of causing a road accident while driving with an expired licence. According to court documents, the driver was found guilty of endangering public safety and damaging property after he suddenly swerved right, colliding with another vehicle. The crash injured three Indian nationals — one man and two women — and caused significant damage to both vehicles. The court ruled that his failure to renew his licence and his reckless driving violated UAE traffic laws and posed a “serious threat to road users.” The ruling highlights the UAE’s strict enforcement of road safety laws.
