An Emirati man is receiving treatment in a hospital after an SUV crash on Emirates Road in Sharjah that killed three of his Emirati companions. According to Sharjah Police, the Emirati sustained severe injuries from the deadly crash that happened on Saturday (December 16). The accident happened at around 7am, when the group’s SUV vehicle crashed into an iron barrier on Emirates Road near the Al Zubair Tunnel towards Bridge 7. The vehicle also crashed into a street lamp, killing the three Emiratis. Police did not specify who were the passengers or driver of the vehicle. Police, however, revealed that the driver was speeding and swerved abruptly, which caused him to lose control of the vehicle. ICA/Expat Media
