Dubai expat dies in motorbike accident in India

  DUBAI – An Indian expatriate on vacation in Kerala died in a motorcycle accident in his hometown, according to a report on Saturday (December 12). Rohit Raj John, who worked as a sales manager for a travel company in Dubai, suffered severe injuries from the crash, his brother-in-law told Khaleej Times. John, 33, had been in Kerala since September to be with his wife for the delivery of their twin boys. Relatives said that John was found lying on the road hours after he left home. It is believed he may have hit a lamppost after his motorcycle skidded on the road following a drizzle in the area. The crash left John with severe lung and brain injuries and he was admitted to the hospital intensive care unit where he died on Saturday. ICA/Expat Media
