Expat Media’s CEO and owner has been named among the Top 100 Entrepreneurs of 2024 in the recent Emirates Finest Business Awards. Mars Yabut De Los Santos received the distinction at the awarding ceremony in the iconic Queen Elizabeth II floating hotel in Dubai on April 30. The award was handed by Adnan Ali Mohammed Ali Alhammadi, Chairman of Emirates Finest Business Awards. The award honoured individuals and contributors to various industries in the UAE, as well as recognized their excellence and innovation in their respective fields. “I am grateful for the honor and recognition, not just for myself, but also for Expat Media and Expat Media Group. De Los Santos has more than 15 years of experience in the media and PR industries in Asia and the Middle East. Awarded Best in Journalism by the Dubai Government’s Dubai Festivals and Retail Establishment and winner of the Global Filipino Icon Award, De Los Santos is also credited as the first Filipino head of the digital division of the Gulf News magazines, launching various major online titles before creating her very own Expat Media Group, a rising media powerhouse operating in the UAE in the last eight years.
