Libina Velayudhan grabbed a share of the spotlight in the recent Mrs. India Queen, with the UAE resident securing the second runner-up title in the tightly contested pageant. Bollywood actress Shilpa Shetty and Mr. World 2016 Rohit Khandelwal were among the judges of the pageant held in Mumbai, India. "I am incredibly honored and grateful to have been recognized as the Mrs. India Queen 2nd Runner-up. This experience has reaffirmed that beauty pageants are not just about physical appearance but also about inner strength, intelligence, and the ability to inspire others," Velayudhan told Expatmedia.net. Velayudhan, a Dubai-based HR professional, was also honored with the titles of Mrs. Kerala 2023 and Mrs. Intellectual 2023. She said her participation in the pageant is aimed at “encouraging women to strive for their goals and redefine their identities beyond societal expectations.” “I hope my journey encourages women to break barriers, embrace their unique qualities, and pursue their dreams with passion and determination,” Velayudhan said.
