Dubai expat wins DSF mega raffle with mother's help

DUBAI - Mothers have a very special place in our lives and hearts but how many of them can change our luck around? Just ask new DSF winner, Ibrahim Tleel, a Lebanese engineer in Dubai. The 49-year-old father of two flew his mother into Dubai for a week to visit her family and enjoy everything that Dubai Shopping Festival (DSF) has to offer across the city. During her short stay, Tleel's mother purchased an INFINITI Mega Raffle ticket at a petrol station as a gift for her son. As a result, he won an INFINITI QX50 and DH200,000 in cash in the daily INFINITI Mega Raffle, part of the 25th edition of DSF. Commenting on the stroke of luck, the engineer said, “I still can’t believe it. This ticket has made all my dreams come true. It has secured my children’s future and given me peace of mind. The cash prize will go straight into savings for my children and as for the car, I’ve decided to keep it.” Ecstatic about his recent win, Tleel states that his mother will do all the buying for the entire family moving forward, just in case she strikes luck again.
