Dubai Civil Defence averted a potential disaster when a boat caught fire near a petrol station in the Dubai Harbour area. The Operations Room received the alert at 11:50am on Sunday (December 29). Within three minutes, the Dubai Harbour Fire Station dispatched teams to the site. Initial assessments revealed that the fire originated on a boat docked near the fuel station, prompting immediate evacuation of the area. Specialist firefighting teams worked efficiently to douse the blaze and prevent the fire from spreading to nearby vessels or the fuel station. Cooling operations commenced shortly after the fire was controlled to ensure no reignition. The site was later handed over to relevant authorities for investigation. ICA/Expat Media
