After being convicted of assault and theft, a gang of five Arabs was sentenced to two years in prison. The gang will be deported after they pay back the stolen amount and serve their sentence. They were found guilty of assaulting 15 workers and stealing Dh41,000. The incident dates back to June 15, when workers in Al Quisais submitted a report alleging that a group of five individuals beat them with sticks and took their money. According to one of the workers, they attempted to resist them. However, the men said they were under arrest, seized their cash and phones, and fled. The workers were able to apprehend two of the suspects. The police identified and arrested them. The accused then confessed to their crimes. BKM/ Expat Media
