Five Asians robbed a Ras Al Khor warehouse of 250 boxes of ready-made clothing and cigarettes worth Dh192,000. The Dubai Criminal Court fined them the value of the stolen goods and jailed them for six months. The suspects will also be deported after serving their jail terms. A Gulf investor reported missing products from his warehouse last August. When he went to the warehouse, the lock was already broken. The investor then saw CCTV footage of the individuals breaching the lock and entering the facility. They also stole boxes. A policeman involved in the investigations revealed that a CID team analyzed surveillance footage to identify the bus driver who stole the goods. The driver was arrested and confessed to being an accomplice for Dh1,000. He also informed the police of all others involved. BKM/ Expat Media
