The Dubai Fountain, one of the emirate’s most iconic attractions, will light up again on October 1, developer Emaar has confirmed. After a five-month hiatus for renovation works, the world’s largest choreographed fountain system is set to dazzle visitors with a renewed glow and an expanded schedule of performances. Located at the heart of Downtown Dubai, beside Burj Khalifa and The Dubai Mall, the fountain has long been a symbol of the city’s innovation and artistry. Phase One of the renovation included essential upgrades such as tiling, water insulation, and painting—all completed ahead of schedule to preserve the landmark’s beauty and ensure long-term safety and reliability. The first show is scheduled at 6:30pm on October 1. Following this, the fountain resumes its popular evening shows, in addition to afternoon shows: • Afternoon shows: 1pm and 1:30pm (Fridays at 2pm and 2:30pm) • Evening shows: every 30 minutes from 6pm to 11pm That means more opportunities for visitors to enjoy the breathtaking mix of music, water, and light that has made the Dubai Fountain a must-see for millions worldwide. But this is only the beginning. Phase Two of the renovation, scheduled for completion in the second quarter of 2026, promises the addition of new, innovative features designed to elevate the experience. Details remain under wraps, but Emaar has hinted at a future where creativity and technology blend to create even more unforgettable moments.
