Four Arabs who defrauded a Gulf citizen are the subject of an investigation by Dubai's Public Prosecution. The victim reported to the police that four people had beaten and robbed him. He claimed he had seen a social media ad claiming customers could get dollars for less than half their actual value. He agreed with the criminals to buy $150,000 for Dh50,000. Both parties agreed on the delivery's time and place. To get the victim away from security cameras, the four men met him and took him to a public space. He was then attacked, and they stole Dh50,000 before running away. To find the offenders, the police put together a team right away. After a more thorough search and investigation, the perpetrators were found and immediately apprehended. The defendants acknowledged that they set up a page on social media to look for victims looking to exchange money. They are presently facing trial in court. BKM/ Expat Media
