Influencers and digital content creators can now apply for Dubai’s coveted Golden Visa under the emirate’s expanded program aimed at fostering global talent. Introduced in January 2025, the Golden Visa for influencers is part of Dubai’s initiative to attract creators and innovators in the digital economy. The program was unveiled during the recent 1 Billion Followers Summit in Dubai, signaling the UAE’s commitment to becoming a global hub for content creators. The Golden Visa offers a renewable 10-year residency for influencers, podcasters, animators, and other creative professionals. With no need for a local sponsor, it provides unparalleled freedom for individuals to live, work, and establish businesses in Dubai. Here's what you need to know:

Who are eligible?

Applicants must meet specific criteria, including: • Substantial follower counts on platforms like Instagram, YouTube, or TikTok. • A strong portfolio showcasing collaborations, media coverage, or awards. • Evidence of revenue generation or monetization.

How to apply?

1. Check eligibility: Ensure you meet the criteria for influencers. 2. Prepare documentation: Gather social media metrics, portfolios, and other proofs of influence. 3. Submit application: Apply via the Federal Authority for Identity, Citizenship, Customs and Ports Security (ICP) website or app, or visit a Customer Happiness Center for assistance. Processing takes approximately 48 hours, with fees starting at Dh1,100.
