The UAE marked the Festival of Lights with a grand Diwali event at Dubai’s Zabeel Park on Saturday (November 16). Organized by Emirates Loves India with support from the UAE Government Media Office and Dubai Police, the event celebrates Indian culture, art, and folklore. Running from 11am to 11pm, the celebration is expected to attract 40,000 people and includes cultural performances, live music, and a special tribute to Indians excelling in the UAE. "This event reflects the close ties between the UAE and India while showcasing our multicultural harmony," said an Emirates Loves India spokesperson.
The event features live performances by artists like Badshah, Jonita Gandhi, and Avial, with cultural displays celebrating India’s rich heritage.
