A Pakistani delivery driver who was spotted in a video, moving traffic barriers being blown by the wind has been honoured by MOHRE.

The UAE Ministry of Human Resources and Emiratization (MoHRE) has honored Waqas Sarwar, a delivery driver, who removed a traffic barrier blown by the wind into the center of a busy roundabout in Dubai. In a video, he is seen getting off from his motorcycle and dragging the road barrier out of the way of passing cars. The Pakistani national, who has lived in the UAE in the last 12 years, said he was not aware that he was being filmed. Sarwar said, "I just wanted to do the right thing. If I spot the blocks and drive way, then I saved myself, but if other drivers didn't see them, they could meet with an accident." His kind deed was recorded on video, which attracted the Ministry's notice after it went viral on social media. He was honored by Khalil Al Khoori, the Undersecretary for Human Resources Affairs, in his office.
