Dubai Police have announced the locations for the traditional iftar cannon firing during Ramadan 2026, continuing a long-standing custom that marks sunset and the end of the daily fast. The Ramadan cannon is a symbol of the holy month in Dubai and draws families and visitors each year. The main cannon locations  in Dubai this Ramada are: • Burj Khalifa • Expo City Dubai, which will serve as the main cannon site • Festival City • Jumeirah Beach Residence • Vida Creek Harbour Hotel Dubai Police said additional key sites are being supported by partners including Emirates Airline, Dubai Airports and Dar Al Ber. For the first time this year, a mobile cannon known as Madfa’ Rahal will travel to 11 locations across the city. These include community areas, schools and popular destinations such as: • Atlantis Hotel • Bab Al Shams Hotel • Global Village • Meydan Hotel The mobile cannon initiative aims to bring the Ramadan tradition closer to residents in various neighbourhoods. Ramadan is expected to begin on February 19 and is currently predicted to last 29 days, ending around March 19, subject to official moon-sighting confirmation. Dubai Police organise the annual cannon firing in coordination with several government and private sector partners to ensure public safety and smooth operations at each site. ICA/Expat Media
