Dubai immigration bureau's message to Filipinos on fake news, seeking help

DUBAI - The immigration bureau of Dubai has called on Filipinos to seek the agency's help for services and information instead of relying on fake news. The General Directorate of Residency and Foreigners Affairs in Dubai (GDRFA) said it has opened several avenues to make it easier for Filipino expats to tap the agency's services. The agency's smart services can be accessed at gdrfadubai on twitter, Instagram, YouTube and Snapchat. Its app allows customers to make visa transactions and get legal services. Major General Mohammed Ahmed Al Marri, Director General of GDRFA, said the agency is open to provide Filipinos with the latest immigration news. "To help the community of Filipinos, we'd like to be clear; we'd like them to follow our social media (and) contact us if there's anything," Al Marri said. He discouraged Filipinos from sharing unconfirmed reports. "We are coming to you and would like to share with you all our latest news and we'd like also to hear from you your advices, your suggestions - whatever you have to improve our services," he said. WAM/Expat 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
