As part of ongoing efforts to maintain and beautify Dubai’s International City, developer Nakheel has begun power-washing nine buildings in the Morocco cluster. The cleaning, which started on September 26, will continue until October 15, covering external façades and balconies, as well as removing illegal satellite dishes and other unsightly items. The cleaning efforts are part of Nakheel’s initiative to maintain the aesthetic appeal of one of Dubai’s most popular residential areas. Residents in affected buildings, including I-02, I-06, I-09, I-12, and others, have been asked to keep their balconies clear of any items and ensure windows remain closed during the cleaning process. Nakheel stated that satellite dishes, unauthorized cable lines, and other illegal installations would also be removed during the cleaning. This initiative ensures compliance with community guidelines and enhances the overall appearance of the buildings. International City residents have welcomed the efforts, with many expressing their satisfaction that the area is being maintained regularly. “It’s a really great initiative to keep this neighborhood clean. I hope they’ll keep up the good work,” a long-time resident told Expat Media. The developer has reiterated that it will continue these power-washing efforts in other clusters to ensure cleanliness and upkeep throughout the entire neighborhood. Nakheel has also urged residents to comply with all guidelines to avoid potential fines or disruptions during the cleaning.  ICA/Expat Media
