Three Asians have been jailed in Dubai for attempting to rob a restaurant deliveryman of Dh1,000 in Bur Dubai. The Dubai Criminal Court sentenced the trio to three months in jail. They will be deported after serving their jail term. The Dubai Court of Appeal upheld the verdict on Monday (October 2). The case dates back to August last year when a deliveryman reported to police that three men had assaulted him and tried to rob him of Dh1,000 as he was delivering a meal in Bur Dubai. He grappled with the gang, one of whom attacked him with a knife that injured his hand. ICA/Expat Media
