A 58-year-old American woman is now in Dubai jail for the premeditated murder of her husband. The Dubai Criminal Court on Monday (June 26) sentenced the woman to 10 years in jail. She will be deported after serving her jail term. According to records, the woman beat her husband to death before taking him to the hospital and claiming that he inflicted the injuries on himself during the July 2021 incident. Investigations and a forensic lab report, however, revealed that the woman was responsible for her husband’s multiple injuries. He suffered internal bleeding and died at the hospital. A forensic report showed that the victim sustained injuries in the head, face, neck, chest, pelvis and his arms and legs. When confronted by evidence, the woman admitted that she assaulted her husband following an argument in their home. ICA/Expat Media
