Speaking to Expat Media, owner Emer Cruz shared what sets Kebab Palace apart. “We are the only restaurant serving authentic Iranian kebabs in the area,” she said.
With a menu boasting 130 items, Kebab Palace caters to a wide range of tastes. While the restaurant offers Arabic, Chinese, Pan-Asian, and Italian dishes, its signature specialties steal the show.
According to Cruz, the best sellers include their Afghan-style Kabuli Pulao and the Mixed Grill Platter, a feast of eight big skewers featuring a mix of chicken, beef, and lamb kebabs.
When Expat Media visited, the Kabuli Pulao (Dh39) did not disappoint. The slow-cooked lamb shank was fall-off-the-bone tender, perfectly complementing the fragrant rice speckled with raisins and carrots. Every bite was a rich and flavorful experience.
For grill lovers, the Mixed Grill Platter is a must-try. Featuring eight skewers of Iranian-style kebabs, including one infused with saffron, the dish offers a generous portion of expertly marinated meats grilled over charcoal. Paired with Persian rice topped with pomegranate, the platter delivers an irresistible blend of smoky, savory, and slightly sweet flavors.
Beyond its delectable offerings, Kebab Palace also serves as a convenient dining spot for visitors of Flamingo Billiards, its sister establishment next door. The billiards hall, powered by Knightshot, is expanding to include gaming rooms and table tennis, making it a perfect hangout spot for casual players and competitive gamers alike.
