In a major initiative to enhance public safety and welfare, Dubai has launched eight strategic police projects worth Dh2 billion, aimed at elevating police capabilities, community welfare, and security technology. Here’s what you need to know about each of these innovative projects:

Dubai Police Academy expansion

This sprawling 155-hectare facility at Al Ruwayyah 1 will host 2,500 cadets and includes residential zones, classrooms, a health center, and sports complexes. Estimated completion: 2027.

Training Centre in Hatta

A high-capacity facility in Hatta to open next year, providing comprehensive police training with a 300-seat arena, sports fields, and shooting ranges.

Area 56 Crime Prevention Hub

A Dh300 million investment in AI-driven predictive policing to bolster crime prevention and traffic safety through advanced data analysis.

Dubai Police Housing Project

Located in Umm Al Daman, this housing initiative includes 246 apartments and sports facilities, providing a supportive environment for police staff. Operational by 2026.

General Department of Organisation Protective Security and Emergency Building

Set to open in 2026, this Dh300 million facility in Al Ruwayyah will offer training grounds, residential quarters, and public services, supporting emergency readiness.

Bur Dubai Police Station Expansion

A Dh90.9 million expansion will add a Smart Police Station, duty rooms, and facilities for handling investigations and traffic issues.

Forensic Medicine Building

Designed to include virtual anatomy and forensic dentistry, this facility will be operational 24/7, expanding forensic capabilities in Dubai by 2026.

Floating Smart Police Station at The World Islands
