If you’ve been meaning to swap your morning stroll for something cooler, you’ve got just one more week to do it—literally. Dubai Mallathon 2025 is entering its final stretch, and residents have until August 31 to make Dubai’s malls their indoor fitness playgrounds. The city’s biggest shopping destinations—Dubai Mall, Mall of the Emirates, Dubai Hills Mall, City Centre Deira, City Centre Mirdif, Dubai Marina Mall, Dubai Festival City Mall, Festival Plaza, and The Springs Souk—have all been transformed into air-conditioned walking and jogging tracks every morning from 7am to 10am. Led by Dubai Crown Prince Sheikh Hamdan bin Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, the initiative is part of Dubai Social Agenda 33, designed to promote health, fitness, and community wellbeing. “Every step you take moves us closer towards a healthier Dubai,” Sheikh Hamdan said. “We want everyone in Dubai to feel they can stay active and energised in welcoming spaces built with their needs in mind.” Aside from clocking in steps, participants can join guided warm-ups, stretching sessions, wellness booths, and kid-friendly fitness zones. The experience is built to appeal to everyone—families, professionals, seniors, and anyone who wants to beat the summer heat while staying active. Registration is free at dubaimallathon.ae, and each participant gets a digital card. Signing up also unlocks exclusive discounts on smoothies, healthy bites, and fitness gear at participating mall outlets. So if you haven’t laced up yet, this is your last chance to walk, jog, or run your way through the coolest workout Dubai has to offer—because after August 31, the mall tracks roll up.
