A man was imprisoned for attempting to steal three air conditioners from a well-known pizza restaurant. The case details date back to March 2022. The man asked four employees to go to the top of the building where the restaurant was located, on Salah Al Din Street in the Al Muraqqabat area in Dubai, and take the air conditioners. He asked them to bring them to his workshop for maintenance. When the restaurant manager questioned the staff about what they were doing, they said that they were maintenance workers working for the suspect and that he had asked them to disassemble the units. The manager informed his supervisor, who told him that there was a maintenance workshop at the restaurant's headquarters. The manager informed the police. Two of the workers fled, and two remained at the site. The workers said in the court file that the suspect asked them to bring him the air conditioners. The suspect was given a month in prison as a punishment. BKM/ Expat Media
