Dubai Police detained a 32-year-old Asian man for attempting to enter Canada using a fake visa. He was sentenced to one month in prison and will be deported after completing his term. According to police records, an inspector at Dubai Airport discovered a fraudulent visa stamp on a passport. In a statement, the accused stated that he paid a tourism firm in a neighboring country Dh10,000 for a visa and travel arrangements to Canada. He said he had no idea the visa was fake.
