Dubai’s Roads and Transport Authority (RTA) has announced extended operating hours for the Dubai Metro on Sunday (July 20), to support the Global Encounters Festival 2025. The Dubai Metro runs from 8am to 12am on a regular Sunday, but on July 20, it will run until 1am to accommodate festival goers. The festival, which will be held at the Dubai World Trade Centre, is expected to draw large crowds from around the world. The Global Encounters Festival is an international celebration of culture and athleticism, organized by the Ismaili Muslim community. It brings together members of the global Jamat (community) through artistic showcases and sporting excellence. With thousands of attendees anticipated, the RTA is extending Metro hours to ensure convenient and seamless travel to and from the venue.
