Dubai Metro service disruption leaves passengers stranded

DUBAI – A “service disruption” on the Dubai Metro service between Emirates Towers station and Burj Khalifa station left passengers stranded on Friday (January 8). The Roads and Transport Authority (RTA) did not give further details about the cause of the service disruption but said that buses have been deployed to accommodate affected passengers.

We'd like to inform Dubai metro red line commuters that metro services between Emirates Towers metro station and Burj Khalifa/ Dubai Mall metro station has been interrupted, noting that bus services are provided to transfer commuters between the two stations.
