Busiest Dubai Metro station named

  DUBAI – Which Dubai Metro station is the busiest of them all? The Roads and Transport Authority (RTA) has shared data on the number of riders recorded at each station in 2021. According to the RTA, the busiest Dubai Metro station last year was the Burjuman Station, which recorded 8.8 million riders on both the Red and Green Lines. The Union Station was second most popularly used by commuters, recording 7.5 million riders on both the Red and Green Lines in 2021. On the Red Line, Al Rigga Station witnessed the highest number of riders as it was used by as much as 7 million riders, followed by the Mall of the Emirates Station with 6.3 million riders. The Business Bay Station came in fifth place with 5.8 million riders, followed by the Burj Khalifa-Dubai Mall Station with 5.7 million riders. On the Green Line, Baniyas Station topped the list in terms of the ridership numbers by lifting about 5.3 million riders, followed by Sharaf DG Station with 5.1 million. The Stadium Station recorded 3.9 million riders in 2021, while Salah Aldin Station recorded 3.8 million commuters and Al Ghubaiba Station recorded 3.2 million riders. The number of Dubai Metro riders on both the Red and Green Lines reached 151.3 million riders in 2021.
