The Dubai Municipality announced that the project to renovate Dubai's public beaches would be completed by December. The project aims to develop and beautify Dubai's beaches, which are among the most important tourist attractions in the emirate. The project is part of the Municipality's efforts to preserve Dubai's facilities' aesthetic and elegant appearance. Dawoud Al Hajri, Director General of Dubai Municipality, stated that the Municipality strives to maintain all of its facilities in the emirate, particularly the beaches, which are popular tourist destinations. The beach rehabilitation project includes the Al Mamzar Corniche, Jumeirah 1, and Jumeirah 3 beaches, as well as the expansion and expansion of the Umm Suqeim I beach.
