Dubai Municipality's 'Souq Al Freej' initiative, launched on December 18, 2022, at Al Warqa 3 Park and Al Barsha Pond Park, will continue welcoming visitors until January 10, 2023. The initiative aims to provide small and medium business owners an opportunity to promote their goods and further support Small and Medium Enterprises (SMEs). It provides entrepreneurs with an accessible venue to display their homemade products. "Souq Al Freej" initiative is also a part of the Municipality's continuous efforts to provide Emirati entrepreneurs living in neighborhoods with investment opportunities and required resources to enhance competitiveness among them to offer the best products at the lowest prices for consumers and further boost trust in household products. Visitors can explore the venue at Al Barsha Pond Park from December 18 to 27, 2022, while Al Warqa 3 Park will be open to guests from January 1 to 10, 2023. In addition to offering on-site logistics facilities and designating accessible stalls for displaying their products, the initiative grants entrepreneurs various concessions. It should be noted that Dubai Municipality has already launched the second season of the Farmers' Souq initiative in Al Nakheel Park in November 2022, which will run till March 2023. The initiative, which is witnessing the participation of more than 50 farmers, seeks to provide a unified platform that brings together Emirati farmers in one place to sell local agricultural and organic products, as well as promote confidence in local agriculture and support farmers and small entrepreneurs.
